Language
Language is the foundation for learning, connection, and self-expression. At Primrose Pediatric Therapy, our speech-language pathologists support children in building both receptive language (understanding what is said to them) and expressive language (using words, sentences, and stories to communicate with others).
Therapy may focus on areas such as comprehension (understanding directions, stories, and questions), word structure(using correct grammar, verb tenses, and sentence organization), and vocabulary (learning and applying new words to express ideas clearly). We use engaging, play-based methods to target each child’s individual needs while making therapy fun and motivating.
By strengthening these skills, we help children succeed in the classroom, build stronger relationships, and gain the confidence to share their thoughts and ideas with the world around them.
